| Originally from Peekskill, New York, Steve Cardinale came to Vail in 1976 as a school teacher. He never envisioned that in 1979 he would begin his real estate career and ultimately become one of the elite residential brokers in the Vail Valley. Out of nearly 110 Slifer Smith & Frampton brokers, Steve was in the top 10 in 2012 and has consistently been within the Top 10 or Top 20 for 13 of the past 17 years. In the past 10 years he has participated in over 950 transactions totaling more than a quarter of a billion dollars. With more than 30 years of experience selling residential real estate, this certainly makes him one of the top brokers in the entire Vail Valley. Steve is also the Branch Broker of the St. James Place, Vacation Ownership, and The Residences at Park Hyatt Offices, all located within Beaver Creek.
Steve is well known for successfully listing and selling luxury mountain resort properties, high-end fractional ownership, and everything in between. He has been the listing broker for two residential developments in the prestigious neighborhood of Arrowhead and is presently is the listing broker for East West Partners at The Residences at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek offering luxury fractional ownership. A few of his recent sales include a stunning mountain retreat in the Elkhorn neighborhood of Bachelor Gulch Village for $8.9 million, a wonderfully remodeled Beaver Creek home for $5.5 million on Holden Road and an exquisite condominium residence at the luxurious ski-in/ski-out Park Hyatt Beaver Creek.
