1. BEAVER CREEK OKTOBERFEST
Break out your lederhosen and head up to Beaver Creek Oktoberfest on September 5-6 for unbeatable beer, delightful Bavarian dishes, and complimentary live entertainment. It’s the perfect time to be outdoors and hike, bike, play a round of golf and celebrate Oktoberfest in Beaver Creek.
The 5th Annual Ed Fest rolls into Edwards, Co on August 15th featuring over 65 national, regional and local breweries pouring samples of their handcrafted beers and ciders. This year the Drive-By Truckers will be entertaining crowds with their alternative country/southern rock. Make sure to swing by our SSF tent and say hi!
3. GOING GREEN
In an effort to keep Vail green, the Town of Vail has issued a plastic grocery bag ban. Vail is following in the footsteps of other Colorado mountain towns such as Aspen, Telluride and Breckenridge and we think it is great!
4. GOURMET ON GORE
Gourmet on Gore is one of our favorite events of the year, where over Labor Day Weekend Vail Village turns into an open-air tasting with world-class wine, beer and spirits paired with culinary delights from top LOCAL restaurants. Swing by our tent to pick up information about our open house tour on Saturday, September 5th.
5. AVON LIVE!
Free concerts continue at Avon’s newest outdoor venue on August 19th, with an opening acting featuring The Sweet Lillies, followed by the main event The Samples. The Avon Performance Pavilion at Nottingham Park is the perfect place to kick back and enjoy a picnic of fresh and unique foods and beverages from local food-trucks. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. and music starts at 6:00 p.m. The headlining band will begin at 7:15 p.m. Parking is available at the Avon Recreation Center, FirstBank, US Bank and on street parking in allowable locations.
