The holiday season is in full swing! You have your ugly sweater ready, your potlucks planned, and you are getting ready for your trip to Vail for the holidays! Here is what you need to know to make the most of  your time here:

Vail Holidays | December 16-December 31

The Vail Holidays events kick off on Saturday, December 16 in Vail Village and will include festive events until the New Year. Events this year will include an (ugly) sweater run, Kris Kringle markets, the annual tree lighting, and much more! You and your family will be right at home in the holiday spirit!

Beaver Creek Loves Kids: Winterfest | December 23-January 6

Beaver Creek turns into the holiday village of your children’s dreams during Winterfest! Fill their imaginations with visits with Santa, storytime, ice skating shows, ice carving demonstrations and more. They won’t soon forget these fun and free activities!

The Nutcracker Ballet and Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol | Vilar Performing Arts Center


Enjoy these two classic Christmas performances in the iconic Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek! Tickets will sell out, so be sure to plan ahead!

Ice Skating | Solaris Plaza, Lionshead Village, Beaver Creek Village


Ice skating is a family favorite, and all 3 of our villages have their very own rinks for your enjoyment! Skate rental is conveniently located nearby as well.

4 Eagle Ranch’s Sleigh Ride Dinners | Wolcott


Snuggle into your very own horse drawn sleigh under the stars after enjoying a buffet at the picturesque 4 Eagle Ranch. The ranch will even pick you up from your hotel for your evening escape!

Adventure Ridge’s Mountain Coaster | Top of Vail Mountain

Vail’s Adventure Ridge has their Forest Flyer Mountain Coaster open for the season! New this past summer, this roller coaster will take you and your kiddos through the woods on an adventure of a lifetime!
