SSF’s Newest Brokers + Sales Manager

Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate welcomes four new Brokers and Sales Manager to The Slifer House.

AVON, Colo. (March 15, 2021) – Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate (SSF), the firm serving Colorado’s mountain resort communities for nearly 60 years, welcomes the addition of four new brokers and an Eagle County Sales Manager to the team: Robert M. Lee III, Andy Owen, George Streeter, Anz Zalkin and Didi Doolittle. They will all be working out of The Slifer House, an innovative, first-of-its-kind shared workspace, which the firm opened just one year ago.

“We’re so excited to have these talented professionals joining our team,” says Lissa Tyler, branch broker at The Slifer House. “We work hard to cultivate talented employees who are committed to SSF’s core values and mission. These five are shining examples of that, and we’re happy they are helping us grow our stellar team throughout the valley.”

Robert M. Lee III joins the SSF team with a focus in residential transactions with experience working with locals, first-home buyers and investors. He is a trusted advisor for his clients, especially as it relates to helping clients navigate through multiple offer situations, on both the buying and selling end. Prior to his real estate work in Colorado, Lee was licensed in both Virginia and Washington, D.C. for five years, where he helped countless households with their real estate needs and achieving nearly $25 million in sales volume. Prior to Lee’s work in real estate, he worked as a development professional for a federal contracting IT company, which during his tenure, grew from just five employees to more than 300 and from $3 million to $70 million.

As a Virginia native, Lee grew to love the outdoors and adventure as an Eagle Scout. He attended the University of Virginia, where he double majored in philosophy and astronomy, played rugby, and was a member of the Delta Epsilon fraternity. In his free time, he is passionate about music and loves to spend exploring all that the Vail Valley has to offer with his wife, Bria, who grew up in Eagle County.

As a SSF broker, Anz Zalkin focuses on residential real estate for local clientele throughout the entire Vail Valley, as well as introducing second homeowners to the area. Zalkin is joining the SSF team with an eclectic range of experience. She was inspired to get her real estate license by her parents, a broker associate and investor, at the young age of 19, in between classes at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating with an international business degree, she immediately began her real estate career in South Florida, catering to a global community of clients. Shortly after, she moved to Barcelona, Spain for six years, where she continued to work in real estate and had the opportunity to also get involved in the music industry. She pursued that career, hand in hand with real estate for the next 14 years. Zalkin is fluent in three languages – English, Spanish and Russian – and has spent a great deal of time traveling the globe and learning about different cultures. This has helped charter her course in working in the international marketplace. She’s thrilled to be joining SSF and the team at The Slifer House.

“When I was researching firms to work with, SSF stood above the rest,” said Zalkin. “The teamwork, opportunities for growth and supportive atmosphere across the company is so apparent. I’m also really looking forward to being based out of The Slifer House and having access to the innovative resources the shared workspace provides.”

George Streeter joins the SSF team as a broker specializing in residential real estate for SSF. As a true Vail Valley native, he comes with intimate knowledge of the Valley and can clearly articulate the nuances of each to clients. Prior to joining SSF, Streeter had a decades-long career in outside sales, working for the world’s second largest retailer with the goal of expanding the company’s network of service providers. He was recognized as a top performer in this industry, and credits his success to his approach to life, which includes humor and humility as well as his understanding that accountability and authenticity are fundamental to creating both personal and professional relationships.

Having grown up racing for Ski Club Vail, Streeter spends as much time as possible enjoying all the valley has to offer with his wife Rebecca and two children, Marley and Les.

Andy Owen, who was Doolittle’s past real estate partner, will continue his career as a broker, taking over what the team has started and has achieved with great success thus far. Owen first became interested in real estate working for his father’s firm as a kid, and became a licensed agent with SSF in 2015. He has been helping families find their perfect mountain home ever since. Prior to joining SSF and partnering with Doolittle, Owen worked as a paralegal for a local firm specializing in real estate and HOA law, giving him additional knowledge and expertise to better serve and meet the needs of his clients. His experience, honesty and hard work ethic makes Owen poised to become a top producer for SSF.

Didi Doolittle is moving from one of the top producing SSF brokers to Eagle County Sales Manager at The Slifer House. In her new role, she will be the direct contact for all SSF brokers and their teams in Eagle County as well as assist with daily contract questions, direct sales, incentives, recruit and train new brokers, and much more. Prior to her new management role, Doolittle was a SSF broker for 15 years, helping countless families buy and sell homes throughout the Vail Valley.

Doolittle is thrilled to work and support brokers through goal setting and business planning, providing educational resources, and rewarding achievements. “Having been with SSF since 2006, I consider them family” said Doolittle. “SSF honors the values that I believe in, and I’m so proud to be a part of this company. Moving into a management role enables me to use the skills I’ve learned to not only help others succeed but help the company I love grow, now spanning Denver to Aspen. As we like to say, ‘we’re just getting started!’”

Unlike any other shared workspace in the country, The Slifer House serves as SSF’s new headquarters and collaboration center, where brokers can meet with clients, and attend training and broker development sessions. The 10,000-square-foot space is designed for creating content, becoming immersed in virtual media, and meeting face-to-face with clients no matter where they are in the world. That means leading-edge technology like ultra-fast internet, cloud storage, smart TVs that display property videos and virtual tours, A/V-equipped meeting rooms, sound-dampening phone booths, professional quality recording studio for podcasts, VR/AR interactive media spaces, video conference spaces, and a fully microphoned training room. Each of SSF’s 250-plus brokers – from nearly 30 offices across the Colorado mountains and now Denver – has access to this new workspace.

But it’s not just about the work. The Slifer House abides by the mountain-town mantra of “work hard, play hard.” Only a 90-second walk from the gondola at the base of the iconic Beaver Creek Resort, The Slifer House is a handy headquarters for outdoor recreation any time of the year. The space is built for active mountain living, with a shower, activity lockers and a mud room — plus a kitchen, bar, library, and game room.
