Eagle
Small-town. Friendly. Affordable. The locals say the sun almost always shines on Eagle, even when the surrounding peaks are blanketed with snow. The Town of Eagle is the county seat and was an agricultural community when it was founded in 1887 along the Eagle River and the growing western railroad network. Its traditional main street, Broadway, is still lined with original storefronts, shops and cafes.
Wide-open vistas and brilliant blue skies dominate your views in Eagle. In town, you’ll find a sparkling new swimming pool and a year-round ice rink. Surrounding Eagle are some of the Vail Valley’s most breathtaking ranches. The Eagle County Airport and the Vail and Beaver Creek resorts are just a short drive away. Come for the scenery, but stay for a simple and affordable lifestyle.
