" Ann Foster was an amazing broker in our transaction. Over a period of two years, we probably looked at 70 or 80 homes. Even though a few worked along the way, my wife and I did not have a joint agreement with 100 percent confidence on any until our ultimate purchase. Ann spent so much time with us and even on short notice, she would drop everything to show a property. The purchase of our property was a funny story. After a 6 week stay in Vail, we were about to head back to Denver to catch our flight. Ann called my wife, and she didnt answer the phone with, "hello", but rather, "dont tell me you have another home....". Ann proceeded to explain that the home in Cordillera just came on the market and she emailed a listing flyer on the property. Many homes look appealing on the flyers, but this one was different because it was only two years old. I asked Ann if she could get an appointment. She said she would and then back peddled because the listing agent had a note that 24 hours was necessary to schedule an appointment. Ann said to give her 5 minutes and she called the listing broker who told her that he will show the house, but he had to leave by 5 pm for his wife's birthday. It was now 3:45 pm and we were still in Vail (with an 11 pm flight out of Denver). An important footnote to this is that the listing agent was John Tyler who also works at Slifer. We rushed to the house, and before we even walked upstairs, my wife looked at me and we both gave a thumbs up to each other (without Ann seeing). I must share this testimonial on Ann with John because John played such an important role in finalizing this transaction. We already had amazing experience with Ann, but then having a second agent from Slifer involved put the stamp on the quality of Slifer agents. We paid asking price (nothing I am bragging about) and signed the contract in the rental car return bus on the way to the airport. John told us that if we pay asking price, he will get the deal finalized. I think everyone was happy. I know we were happy, I think the sellers were happy, and both Ann and John were also happy.
