Beatriz Martinez - Broker Associate
A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Beatriz attended undergraduate school at Syracuse University in New York where she majored in Communications Design. She moved to Miami, Florida, and worked in the internet and social-media fields for seven years with positions in companies that include AOL, UOL of Brazil and StarMedia. Following a desire to further her professional education, she obtained an Executive MBA in International Business at the University of Miami in 2002. The entrepreneur bug bit soon after, and she founded her own real estate corporation, ESQUIAR LLC, and obtained her real estate license in 2004. She later relocated to Vail, Colorado, in order to expand her client roster and explore new markets.
She is currently a Real Estate Broker and Associate at Slifer, Smith & Frampton, the largest real estate firm in Vail. Together, they launched SS&F’s Latin America division INMUEBLE in 2011 focusing on servicing high-net worth individuals from international markets like Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and Spain, who wish to invest in the real estate market within the Vail Valley.
Her previous experience in the internet and social-media fields later helped her launch the first Spanish-language vacation rental portal in the Vail Valley, alquileresvail.com, along with key partners. The site will also launch in Portuguese in early 2019. Along with these professional accomplishments, she also represents Vail Resorts as a travel wholesaler for the Latin American market.
She currently resides in Key Biscayne, Florida, along with her two children. She is also a licensed broker in Puerto Rico. Beatriz has been a featured panelist/speaker at various industry conferences including EXPO Inmobiliaria in Mexico City 2016/17 (http://exni.mx/), and Luxury Real Estate Seminar in Denver, 2019.
