Ski Like a Local

As we head into another weekend of some fresh snow, here’s a list of SSF’s favorite runs at Vail and Beaver Creek Mountain!

  • Pete’s Stash – Andrew Wert “It’s hard to get to, intimidating, and never busy.”
  • Headwall – Mitch Whiteford “Deceptively steep and consistent pitch. Easy to ski by, so a great place for fresh snow.”
  • Cloud Nine – Cara Connolly “I love the big, wide open trees. It feels super magical riding floating thru the run and looks like the quintessential Colorado postcard.”
  • Windows – Diana Mathias “…on a powder day! Through the trees to wide open terrain with great rolls and variation and always can find a fresh line.”
  • Born Free – Jenna Westra

Beaver Creek:

  • Screech Owl – Stephanie Hart “Bumpers dream run!”
  • Stickline – Heather Bailey “It’s tucked away but easy to get to and never gets old on a powder day.”
  • Harrier – Lissa Tyler “Off the beaten track and fun powder day run on the way down to a hot chocolate in village.”
  • Golden Eagle – Michael Hoy “Because it’s the 2nd most demanding World Cup downhill hill course in the WORLD!”
