Most Innovative Office Design Award

State of the art conference room in real estate office

Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate (SSF) is thrilled to announce that The Slifer House (TSH) has received the prestigious Most Innovative Office Design Award from Leading Real Estate Companies of the World. This annual award recognizes only two members from its global network of 550 firms that have excelled in this area. SSF unveiled The Slifer House, an innovative, energetic, first-of-its kind shared workspace in February 2020 to serve as the nearly 60-year-old firm’s new headquarters and collaboration center.

“We are so impressed with the design of The Slifer House and its ability to foster collaboration through inviting spaces that also incorporate the mountain lifestyle that is so vital to the Slifer Smith & Frampton community,” said LeadingRE Executive Vice President, Member Services Kate Reisinger. “With advanced technology that supports content development ranging from podcasts to property videos, as well as state-of-the-art virtual meetings, The Slifer House raises the bar in modern office design, and we are pleased to recognize it with our Most Innovative Office Design award.”

Located in Avon, Colo, TSH welcomes all of SSF’s 240-plus brokers – from more than 30 offices across the Colorado mountains – to share this workspace. “We are always challenging ourselves to be forward thinking – a skill we learned from our progressive owners. We wanted to create a flexible and innovative space that has the tools and amenities our brokers need to do their best work, ultimately allowing them to provide the best service to their clients,” says Shawna Topor, visionary of TSH. “Our philosophy is that great things happen at the intersection of ideas and opportunity, and so we designed The Slifer House to help our brokers and staff have those innovative collisions.”

The firm is even taking the award-winning design and incorporating elements into new office locations. Recently, SSF opened the doors of a new location in Denver at the famed Coloradan. Situated next to Union Station — an ideal spot for a city lifestyle — the new office at The Coloradan was designed to bring the same sense of innovation, connection, and energy that defines The Slifer House down to the city. “We wanted to be a part of the community that we live and work in, so we chose a design that allows us to constantly interact with the environment around us, inviting the community in while at the same time creating a functional work space for our team,” says Talia Haebler, Director of Marketing and Brand Management. The design was kept simple and timeless, creating comfortable areas for the team and for clients to connect, collaborate, and create.
