Check out the events around town this Fourth of July weekend. Due to the recent fires, all fireworks displays have been canceled, but there are still plenty of ways to celebrate.
35th Annual Salute to the USA | Avon
Enjoy music, festival-style food, kid-friendly activities and more at Nottingham Lake.

Time: 5:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Kids Bike Parade | Eagle
The Kids’ July 4th Bike Parade and Ride is back and features a new route. They’ll travel from the Eagle Medical Center to Brush Creek Park along the bike path. Bring the whole family for some patriotic fun.
9:15am – Begin the line up for the Parade.
Start Spot #1 – Meet at the Eagle Medical Center North Parking Lot. Decorate your bike for July 4th at home or at the Medical Center.
Start Spot #2 – Younger rides meet at between the Boneyard and the Bike Path on Capitol.
10:00am – Parade begins. We ride from the Eagle Medical Center North lot along the bike path to Capitol St. and on to the Brush Creek Park for a little celebration. Little riders and their parents can join the parade where the bike path meets Capitol St. and ride with us to Brush Creek Park.
Vail America Days | Vail
The Town of Vail is excited to feature some incredible patriotic exhibits, on-the-move musicians and other surprises from Vail Village to Lionshead on Sunday, July 4. While visiting Vail’s shops and restaurants, take time to stroll through town and enjoy the curated displays embracing this year’s theme “America’s Heroes”.
9:30 – 3:30 – Vail Farmers Market
10:00 – 3:00 – Patriotic Exhibits in Lionshead
2:00 – Patriotic Concert at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater
6:00 – 9:00 – Silent Disco
