Michael was born and raised in Catskill, N.Y. and has been living in Colorado since 1975. With his extensive ski industry background he came to the Vail Valley in 1989 as Director of the Arrowhead Ski School (now part of Beaver Creek Ski School). Michael still teaches skiing part time and many of his clients have become second homeowners in Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead. He is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the Vail Valley's real estate market. In addition to being a broker associate, in 1997, Michael earned his GRI real estate designation and is a member of the National Association of REALTORS. He received the company's prestigious "Golden Eagle" award in 2007 and 2008. This award recognizes the top 10 producing brokers for Slifer Smith and Frampton Real Estate.
Susan moved to Colorado in 1995 from Los Angeles, California. She grew up in Stockton, California and has now lived in the Vail Valley for twelve years. After college, Susan worked as an escrow officer in Brentwood, California, closing multi- million dollar real estate transactions in the Brentwood, Westwood and Beverly Hills area. She later made the move east to Colorado and in 1996 worked for Slifer Smith and Frampton Real Estate as a coordinator of the lot selection process for the exclusive Bachelor Gulch Village pre-development phase. During this successful sellout of the initial 52 homesites of phase 1, she met her future employer and went to work for Vail Resorts Development. She continued for eight years as Membership Director for such prestigious clubs as the Beaver Creek Club, Bachelor Gulch Club, Arrowhead Alpine Club and Red Sky Golf Club. In 2006, Susan joined Slifer Smith and Frampton Real Estate again,as a broker associate, teaming up with her husband Michael. Susan is a member of the National Association of REALTORS and most recently earned the GRI designation from the completion of the Graduate REALTOR Institute Program. She and her husband reside in Eagle.
